After preliminary weigh in, BP and oxygen check Dr. Javaid came in shortly after wards ready to be my doctor (good listener, asked questions concerning some answers to his questions), did not rush his time with me, very efficient office staff and nurse.

I have been a patient at Prevention First since early Covid days, when I moved halfway across the country to live in St. Louis. Dr. Javaid was only doing virtual visits at that time, and I felt fortunate to have found such a good listener while adjusting to a new city. Now Covid is a bad memory and visits in person are really great. The staff is friendly and very efficient. I never have to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes for my appointment. I really miss Nurse Melody but I highly recommend Dr. Javaid. He cares about his patients and he is willing to listen to my thoughts about my care. Some doctors have a god complex and no interest in my thoughts. Not so, at this place! 5 of 5 stars all the way around.

I was also impressed with the fact, he patiently listened to me, as I sometimes have flights of ideas, and have tendency to vere off subject. And he actually listened to what I had to say! He ordered several blood panels to help r/o certain conditions and get baseline for others, as I have numerous conditions going on. I haven't had this much thoroughness in a very long time! I left his office with an improved confidence in medical professionalism again!
